go to the title: "agreement quizzes" and right click and choose: "open in a new tab or window".
When you get to the website, click on the pink link at the bottom of the page that says: "guide to grammar and writing." Then go the "word and sentence level" box and scroll down to "subject verb agreement." Read the page. At the bottom, take all 3 quizzes. Copy and paste scores into 1 word doc. Don't print yet.

Next, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the "guide to grammar and writing" icon again. Then go to the "word and sentence level box" and scross down to "pronoun/antecedent agreement." Take the first 2 quizzes at the bottom of the page. copy these scores onto the word doc and print it.

Right click on the title: Grammar Exercises #3 above. Choose "open in a new tab (or window)." This will bring you to a grammar website about commonly confused words. Click on the pink link to "part 2" and scroll to the bottom. Take the following quizzes:

quiz on notorious confuables
special quiz on its/it's
special quiz on except/accept

then click on the icon on the bottom of the page that says "guide to grammar and writing". Go to the "ask grammar, quizzes, search device" box and click on "170+ Interractive quizzes." The scroll down to #68: fragments and run on sentences. Take that quiz.

For each quiz, print out your scores. If it asks for your name, please put it. It is easiest to copy and paste stuff into a word doc so you can put your name on it all!

What did you do this summer?

Welcome back! Tell me what you did this summer....
I feel like the beginning of my summer flew. I did lots of babysitting (and even a week of dog sitting). I also went on trips to Washington, D.C. and Vermont. My parents have a house in Scituate, MA so I went there often. The highlight was a recent Bruce Springsteen concert at Comcast.
